A door opened

Red Door’s journey began over thirty years ago when the owner visited a small local church. What started as a moment of uncertainty quickly became one of welcome and inspiration. The open door and sense of belonging he experienced that day later inspired the name Red Door.

From a hog farm to field-to-fork

Raised on a hog farm near Bluevale, Arnold witnessed firsthand the financial challenges faced by family farmers in the 1990s. Determined to create a more sustainable model, he began pursuing a true field-to-fork experience. With the purchase of the Clyde Street property in 2016, Red Door Milling was born.

Grown here. Milled here. Shared here.

Today, the company grows Canadian Hard Red and Red Fife, a heritage wheat, on the family farm. This exceptional grain is the foundation of our flour and food—products that reflect our commitment to quality, transparency, and connection from field to table.
